- Data Security Investigations in Purview, using AI to scan thousands of documents and highlight exposure in seconds
- A clear focus on faster threat detection, fewer false positives, and leaner incident response, the kind that actually works under pressure
They also reminded us what’s going on behind the scenes. Microsoft processes over 78 trillion security signals a day, powered by a team of 34,000 cyber experts working globally. That’s scale you can’t fake.
Bigger Conversations: Trust, Regulation, Responsibility
The week wasn’t all about shiny tech. There were big discussions around trust, regulation and responsibility too.
Microsoft highlighted the rise in AI-powered cybercrime. Did you know that between April 2024 and April 2025, they stopped:
- 4 billion dollars in attempted fraud
- 49,000 partnership phishing scams
- 1.6 million bot signup attempts every single hour
